Whats the best way to make gp on a pure? I tried green drags but it failed bad.
Any others?

Here's just a few for you that can be done. Law running, nat running, merching, you can get your craft up and make glorys for 10k profit per glory, you can kill chaos droids sell the unids 1k ea, you can smith steel bars in port phars for quick go and exp.
That should get you started.

I made some fast pocket money mining coal a few weeks ago. No clue how profitable it is now but it was by far better than anything else I was doing. Coal trucks work pretty well for that sort of thing and it also levels mining (In case you aren't able to access higher ores).

Skilling is always the best way. Woodcutting/mining/fishing are all great ways at the monent to make cash as they're stable with people having low fm/fletch/smith levels, and the demand for armour weapons and food for pking.

i would say abys nature runecrafting as you can make anywhere from 1-2k natures a hour depending on if you got the pouches even more once you get 91 runecrafting but this method requires amulet of glorys (4) or a glory in your house for it to work good

Money Making On A Pure?

Making money on a pure is extremely hard. You're really a glorified skiller, because PKing will make you very little profits, and the PvM you can do is very limited. With that being said, a lot of raw materials are very profitable right now. You just need patience and persistence to get a huge quantity of these commodities.
If you train a multitude of stats, you can gain even more profit. For example:

Mining, Smithing and Fletching
1. Mine Iron Ore and use them on a furnace to turn them into Iron Bars (use Ring of Forgings to get a 100% success rate of forging iron bars from iron ore - you get 140 uses from the ring).
2. Use your Iron Bars on an anvil to make Iron Arrowtips per bar.
3, 4. Cut logs and use a knife on the logs to make Arrow Shafts . Use feathers on the Arrow Shafts to make Headless Arrows .
5. Use your Iron Arrowtips on the Headless Arrowheads to make Iron Arrows , go to World 301 or 302 at West Varrock by the Anvil you were at in Step 2 , and sell your Iron Arrows for anywhere from 20-35 gp ea .
That's just an example of a very basic skill to make money! It is extremely tedious (and I mean you will be bored out of your skull), so I'd suggest finding a FC you can join or have some friends to talk to so you don't die of boredom - but you will make money off it.
